Foreign Ordering Information

Protostar gladly accepts foreign orders, and they are processed in the following manner:

Payment methods. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards. (The online shopping cart is a convenient and secure method of transmitting your payment information to us.) We also accept PayPal payments, but please read the important note in the next paragraph concerning PayPal for foreign orders. You may also send an international money order or bank-issued check in the mail. Electronic fund transfers and purchase orders are not accepted for orders outside the United States.

Important: note about using PayPal with foreign orders:
We accept PayPal, but for orders shipping outside the USA payment with a credit card is recommended (though not required). The reason is PayPal processes your payment immediately when you place the order, and the shipping charges will be incorrect (it will show a USA shipping charge). There will be a balance due for the additional shipping charge, and this requires you to manually submit a second PayPal payment. This inconvenience is avoided when you use a credit card, as we manually process the credit card after we have quoted you the proper shipping charge by e-mail.

Shipping methods. We ship most products by the United States Postal Service using airmail or Global Express Mail. Large or heavy items may have to be sent by FedEx. We must ship to the same address as the credit card holder for non-U.S.A. orders.
Import duties. This is a fee your government charges, and you are responsible for paying it when your package arrives at your location. Duties vary from country to country, and many countries have no duty for our products. To check your own country, use the following "HS Tariff" code for our products:

(This is an international code used to determine what your duty payment will be.)

Below are the approximate shipping costs for our products when shipped outside the U.S.A. We will quote you the exact shipping cost at the time of your order in a confirming e-mail. Most foreign orders are shipped using airmail or Global Express Mail.
