FlockBoard (Patent pending) has the same optical properties as Protostar self-adhesive flocking, but is manufactured onto a low-density plastic sheet. Simply roll it up, and slip it inside your telescope's tube. It self-conforms to tube wall, and stays in place without glue or tape.

FlockBoard is available in two thicknesses, 0.020" and 0.030" (0.5 and 0.8 mm), as described below:

FBR-01 0.020" (0.50 mm) thickness (26-inch width)

Common uses:

lining smaller telescope tubes from 2" to 6" diameter

lining small SCT and Maksutov (catadioptric) telescope tubes

covering mirror boxes and other structural components

FBR-02 0.030" (0.8mm) thickness (21-inch width)

Common uses:

lining telescope tubes larger than 6" dia.

lining SCT and Maksutov (catadioptric) telescope tubes larger than 6" dia.

replacing Kydex in the upper cages of truss-tube Dobs

constructing light shields

self-supporting annular baffle and aperture masks

FlockBoard cuts easily with scissors or a utility knife, and also drills cleanly. Small screw holes can also be poked through cleanly using just a pointed tool. In short, it's a breeze to work with.

FlockBoard is ordered cut-to-length from the roll, and in larger pre-cut rolls at discount. Installation instructions and tips included. One cut length per order please. 10" minimum order quantity. (Patent pending.) Made in the USA.
