This light shield slips onto our BlackLite tubes. It reduces stray light reaching the focal plane, and provides dew protection by limiting the exposure of the secondary mirror to the sky. A detachable light shield also permits the main tube body to be as short as possible. The shield is lined with black flocking, and includes end trim. The exterior is unpainted, and light tan in color. Custom lengths are available. Made in the U.S.A.

Keep dust off of your optics when your telescope is in storage, or being transported. Our tube end caps are custom-made to fit our BlackLite tubes. They also fit Hastings aluminum tubes, and common sizes of cardboard tubes. They will fit with, or without, the tube end trim installed. Color: yellow. Made in the U.S.A.

These cast aluminum mounting rings securely clamp the BL10 and BL12 BlackLite tubes to an equatorial mount head. They are hinged for quick installation and removal of the tube, and are felt lined. TRBL10 rings feature a quick latch mechanism, while the TRBL12 rings use threaded clamping knobs.
In addition to BlackLite tubes, the TRBL10 rings accept any tube with an outside diameter of 9.9" to 10.0" (251 to 254 mm). The TRBL12 rings accept tubes with a outer diameter range of 11.75" to 11.95" (298 to 304 mm). The rings attach with a single 6 mm bolt, and are sold in pairs. Color: dark gray.
